Transforming Startups into Big Companies and Big Companies into Startups
At different stages, companies have different needs.
Startups, with their bold ambitions, aim to disrupt industries or create entirely new markets. To succeed, they must innovate, get noticed, earn trust, and deliver real value. It's only then that they have a real chance at achieving product-market-fit, scaling and becoming a profitable company.
Established market leaders, on the other hand, focus on maintaining and growing their market share and revenue. But staying on top isn’t easy in a world where innovation never stops. These companies must tap into the same innovative spirit that fuels startups—or risk being disrupted by the next big thing.
Companies at these two ends of the spectrum have different needs.
We serve both.
For startups, we help build strong brands, design compelling products, and establish thought leadership, paving the way for growth. For large corporations, we provide insights into the innovation landscape, help their teams foster a startup mindset, and drive disruptive thinking and new venture creation, ensuring they stay ahead.
So why are we equipped to do this? Because we're a team of passionate, talented and deeply experienced professionals, creatives and domain experts who have done it all before. And done it exceptionally well. Time and time again.
Whether you’re a startup ready to make your mark as you start your journey towards becoming a big company or a big company looking to define the future and innovate like a startup, there is only one partner you need: EPIC.
About Our Founder
EPIC was founded by Edwin Philogene, a veteran leader in brand marketing and innovation management with decades of experience driving growth and innovation for both successful startups and large market-leading global companies alike.
On the early-stage front, Edwin has spearheaded key integrated marketing and growth initiatives for industry-defining startups including SiriusXM, Tumblr, Bond, and The Crypto App. In the world of large multinationals, Edwin has led major innovation efforts for category leaders like telecom giant Ericsson, award-winning global ad agency network BBDO (where he led the agency's digital innovation practice), and Exelon, America's largest energy distribution company, where he served as Entrepreneur In Residence, managing internal startup incubation activity and investing in early-stage cleantech ventures.
Edwin's vision was to combine his extensive experience across the corporate spectrum with cutting-edge methodologies and a team of world-class professionals to offer services that provide an edge. The result was EPIC.
